Description of location

Are you looking for a location for your
business enterprise?

Our location is right for you!

… We offer:

Best location – not only scenically attractive!
The community of Tuerkenfeld (district of Fuerstenfeldbruck), as part of the metropolitan area of Munich, is located about 4 mi. north of Lake Ammer and 2.5 mi. east of the world famous Benedictine Abbey St. Ottilia embedded in charming surroundings. Besides the main ward Tuerkenfeld, the other wards of the community are Zankenhausen, Pleitmannswang, Peutenmuehle, Klotzau, Guggenberg and Burgholz. About 3,700 people live in the community – and the population trend is rising. The capital city of Munich can be reached by public transportation (suburban train) in approx. 40 min. The Munich-Lindau freeway is located about 2 mi. to the south.

Past, present and future:
Tuerkenfeld can look back upon an eventful history; in 1999 it was able to celebrate the 1250th anniversary of its founding and it has developed into a modern, lively community with an excellent infrastructure.

This is a good place to live and work!
Very diverse shopping facilities on site guarantee that basic needs are met. Besides these, handicraft businesses, doctors, alternative practitioners, a dentist and many free-lancers have settled here. This listing should not fail to include a variety of medium-sized companies – both from the manufacturing sector as well as from the field of research. In the main part of the community there are subsidiaries of two banks, six restaurants and hotels, a filling station and a collection and recycling center under the auspices of the district of Fuerstenfeldbruck. Tuerkenfeld has schools (primary and intermediate), a swimming pool and also two community kindergartens, with attached day nursery and also an integration group.

In good company:
Local clubs and associations as well as church and secular institutions offer a broad spectrum of leisure time activities and cultural and athletic events. Well known beyond the borders of our region is the annual Silvester Horseback Ride on Dec. 31st, which can be traced back to a solemn vow dating from the year 1807.
